Electrically operated storm brake / rail clamp to protect crane systems or railbound machines against unwanted movements e.g. storm.

• Lifting device for clamp shoes
• Restraining / holding forces up to 100 kN per clamp
• Limit switches monitoring for clamp position

• Clamping jaws will be adjusted to the rail type (Please indicate rail type)

Additional to own brand production, RFT is specialized in repairing storm brakes / rail clamps of other brands due to in-house production flexibility.

Rail clamps show wear due to the fact that they are in use over many years, which means they no longer have the neccessary safety levels required.
